Watched Spartacus this week for the first time. The battle scenes are shocking in their scale and can we please talk about Tony Curtis? Babe.

Seriously, how had I never seen Carnival of Souls?

Been thinking about a photo project on the science fiction/postapocalyptic places I go past in Philadelphia everyday. Metropolis meets Near Dark.

Yes, Philadelphia is horrible, but in a very interesting way. There were places there that had been allowed to decay, where there was so much fear and crime that just for a moment there was an opening to another world.
